Public reporting guide
:::caution Working draft This documentation is under functional review. Check the live reporting portal for current options and requirements. :::
ECCAIRS 2 supports the collection and processing of aviation safety occurrence reports. Organisations and competent authorities use the information to identify and address safety risks. The reporting requirements and available options depend on the competent authority and the rules that apply in its jurisdiction.
This guide is for people who want to report an occurrence without a registered account, understand what happens after submission, or request an individual or organisational account. It covers the publicly available reporting functions. If you have an account, sign in to the reporting portal for the functions and guidance available to registered users.
